Rele Abiade is a seasoned leader and strategic advisor with over twenty-five years of experience driving organizational growth and spearheading high-impact initiatives across the public and private sectors. She has a proven track record of success in building collaborative teams, securing project funding, and analyzing public policy at the federal and state levels. She is adept at communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, from prominent elected officials to community leaders, to achieve shared goals. She has worked on many federal and state political campaigns in various roles.

As the Founder and CEO of One Rhode Consulting, Rele provides mission-driven strategic guidance to businesses, nonprofits, and government entities. She is part of the team powering Compete RI, an initiative of the Partnership for Rhode Island. Current and past clients and partners include the Communities First Fund/Barr Foundation, a national consulting firm, the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents, and a government affairs firm, among others. Rele works closely with decision-makers and leaders to advance projects that drive economic growth and community development. She has curated events with national stakeholders and federal agencies and is deeply engaged in regional efforts to support thriving communities.

Rele is also the Co-Founder and Senior Advisor of the New England Environmental Justice (EJ) Federal Funding Hub, where she plays a critical role in shaping and guiding the Hub’s mission to support community-based organizations in securing federal resources. She works closely with state and nonprofit partners to strengthen capacity-building efforts and ensure that underinvested communities receive the funding and support necessary to advance environmental justice solutions.

Her extensive career includes roles at the White House, the U.S. House of Representatives, the New Jersey Governor’s Office, the Rhode Island State House, an economic development nonprofit in New York City, and various political campaigns. She previously served as a Senior Advisor and Deputy State Director to a United States Senator, managing policy projects and appropriations requests.

Rele holds a Bachelor of Science in Individualized Studies, Political Science & Business Management from Providence College and has completed graduate-level coursework in Political Management at George Washington University. She serves on several boards and committees, including the University of Rhode Island Research Foundation, Lincoln School, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Inclusive Economy Steering Committee, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

Her most important and cherished role is as a role model and mother of twins.
