Northern New England Thriving Communities Network

FORMAT: During the day on July 29th, federal agency partners such as Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), USDA Rural Development (RD) and others will be coming together to give very brief introductions to their agencies and programs. We do not plan to spend hours in presentation-style settings, instead MOST of the day will be interactive, giving you a chance to travel from table to table to gather information and ask pertinent questions related to your community need or upcoming projects. We will have two networking sessions as well as a few concurrent workshops in the afternoon.

BE PREPARED: In advance of the event, please do check out some of the THRIVING COMMUNITY webpages from key agencies: HUD TCN, DOT TCN, EPA TCN. In addition to these resources, many of the partners attending have annual programs that are valuable for communities, such as USDA RD and Northern Border Regional Commission. Particularly, we will have a session where we will ask for concepts or case studies from the audience!

  1. Bring your community concept or idea that you are trying to find funding for.

  2. Tell us if you already have an applicant identified or if you still need to organize your partners.

  3. Be curious – come to each federal agency table to see what programs are available!

LOGISTICS: There is ample parking in the lots behind and adjacent to the Institute of Politics: 100 Saint Anselm Drive, Manchester, NH 03102. Lunch is provided.
